2017 GOALS

Last year, I set myself some impossible goals that I mainly failed. I did drink more water, have more of a routine, but I mostly failed. This year, I’m being realistic and setting myself some simple goals that are actually achievable.

Just like last year, one of my main goals is to have a better routine. I want to get up early and go to bed at a decent time. I rarely eat breakfast, so I really want to start doing that because the days that I do are usually the days where I’m feeling better than usual. I want to remember to take all of my makeup off before bed and cleanse my face properly. I’ve been really lazy about this over Christmas and I’m now paying for it with horribly dry skin.

One of my failed goals from last year was to lose a lot of weight. This year I’m going to set my realistic goal as making a meal plan each week and sticking to it. I want to make sure that I have a lot of fruit and veg every day because if I have a lazy day and decide to have toast or something simple for dinner I feel sick and tired the next day which is not good. I also want to continue to drink a lot of water each day.

Something we didn’t do last year and I really want to start doing this year is going on more family outings. Just small trips on the weekend to a wildlife park, or simply just a walk together. I just really want us all to get out and spend time together as a family and make happy memories together.

In the last year I’ve spent an insane amount of money on makeup. I am running out of storage space for it so I’ve decided that I’m going to cut back on buying new makeup and try to use a lot of what I already have. I have well over 100 lipsticks and I think I’ve only ever fully finished 3-4. I am quite close to finishing a few of them though, so I’m off to a good start! Every couple of months I will do a little update post to show you guys how my panning is going!

And obviously, my last goal is to post regularly on my blog. I really love this so I want to post once a week and then maybe an extra post here and there!

I feel like all of these goals are going to be easy for me to stick to so hopefully I do this year!

    It’s great to learn from your previous goal-setting! I hope I haven’t been too ambitious with mine, and I also need to drink more water and lose some weight! I’ve set myself a daily target of 6 glasses and, instead of focusing on the weight, I’m having targets to try abs be fitter. Let’s see!     What great goals!
    I agree with the make up one, although my treat is nail varnish. I have too many to count and most have only been used once or twice!

    I love these goals. I too need to make more of an effort with eating more fruit and veg as I feel the same. I’m with you on the make up thing too, I am really bad at not removing it all all of the time. Good luck with them. #kcacols

    I think it’s important to set goals so you have something to work towards but your goals need to be realistic otherwise your just setting yourself u for failure! I like the sound of a lot of your goals, particularly drinking more water. Something which I could definitely do with adopting!

    These goals are all really great and I’ve tried to make mine more simple and achievable this year for the same reasons!! I need to eat more fruit and veg too – I get fully catered at uni so this can be really difficult and it’s definitely something I need to put more effort in because my skin has suffered:(
