I’m back again with another haul! Over the past month I’ve bought a few things from Morphe Brushes so I thought I’d share what I’ve got because I’m so in love with everything! I was browsing through the Afterpay website again and discovered Discount Beauty Boutique! They are now my favourite online store! They have absolutely everything you could dream of!
I have wanted to try Morphe Brushes for a while, but I hate buying from shops overseas because I absolutely hate waiting. Discount Beauty Boutique is based in Queensland, Australia so that meant I could get things with next day delivery! Morphe Brushes is an extremely popular brand so I was so excited when I saw that they had a few palettes in stock! I bought the 35T (left) and the 35U (right). Obviously I wanted the 35O but every time DBB has restocked it, it sells out in seconds. One day I’ll have it! I also bought the 18 piece Professional Brush set because I desperately needed more brushes and Morphe is everyone’s favourite brush brand!
I’ll start by talking about the brushes. Almost every youtuber I watch loves Morphe Brushes so I really wanted to try them. I decided to get a full set instead of a few staple brushes that everyone talks about because I wanted another set. I got one of the larger sets because I already have two smaller brush sets and I wanted some different brushes. I have read some reviews that say they are scratchy, but I don’t feel like mine are scratchy at all. They are so soft, they blend my makeup so well. I really love them!
I absolutely love the eyeshadow brushes! They work so well and blend eyeshadows so nicely. The big powder brushes are so also really great! I’m so glad it came with a couple because I only had two before I bought these so I really needed a few more. This brush set also came in a nice little carry case which will be perfect for if I ever go away and need somewhere safe to store my brushes.
18 PIECE PROFESSIONAL BRUSH SET – $75.00
The first palette I bought was the 35U. It was the only one in stock at the time and I thought it would be a great purchase because I can experiment with colourful eye looks, which is something I never really do. All of these eyeshadows are shimmery and if you have read my Medusa’s Makeup Haul post you would know that I am so in love with glitter and shimmery eye looks! I just love the variety of colours you get in this palette! You can create so many fun looks with this and its the kind of palette that can be used all year round because there are some darker colours and then those incredible bright colours! These eyeshadows are so pigmented. The swatches above are straight on my skin. I didn’t put anything under them!
35U MULTI COLOR SHIMMER PALETTE – $45.00
I bought this palette the day after I bought the 35U because I got an email saying it was back in stock and I knew how fast it would sell out. This is such an incredible palette. It is the perfect every day palette for me because I mainly wear these sorts of colours. This one is a mix of shimmer and matte colours so you can create full looks with this. Im obsessed with the gold and bronze shimmery colours. I can’t wait to play around with this palette some more and see what kind of looks I can create with it! Some people thinks that these palettes are a bit expensive, but honestly I think they are so worth it because they all have 35 colours that are highly pigmented so you don’t have to use a lot of product. If you want to expand your eyeshadow collection I would definitely reccomend these!
35T TAUPE PALETTE – $45.00
The first palette on my Morphe wish list is the highly popular 35O Nature Glow palette. I’ve recieved 3 emails saying they’re in stock but I’m always too late and they have sold out. Hopefully I’ll be able to get it soon! The next one I want is their newest palette, the 35F Fall into Frost. It has only just been released so I think it will be very hard to get my hands on one because it is an extremely beautiful palette.
