Yankee Candle melts are one of my favourite things ever and when they are a little bit christmassy it makes me so happy! I don’t have a lot of Christmas specific scents because my Spotlight store doesn’t sell the Christmas range anymore, but I have found a few that are perfect for this time of year.
Candy Cane Lane
This melt is one of my favourites for Christmas. The scent is super realistic and really strong so it can fill your whole house! I have about 7 of these so I’m burning them quite regularly.
Balsam and Cedar
This is another scent that I have a lot of. Spotlight was selling these for $2 so I bought about 10. I absolutely love this one. Balsam and Cedar is really warming and cosy and makes the room smell like a forest Perfect if you have a fake Christmas tree but want the room to smell like you have a real one!
Winter Glow
This one I melt close to Christmas to really get me in the Christmas spirit and to try and make myself forget about the horrible Australian summer (I hate summer and wish Christmas was during winter here)! It is a really lovely mix of orange, rosemary and lavender!
Frankincense
This one has a really spicy, warm scent that is so lovely! It is very relaxing and homely and perfect for Christmas!
Red Velvet
During Christmas I bake a lot! Red Velvet is one of my husbands favourite scents! This was also one that spotlight had for $2 so we have gone through so many of these! Definitely a favourite in our house!
Buttercream
This one smells absolutely incredible! It smells exactly like buttercream and really gets you in the mood to bake all those Christmas goodies!
Pain Au Raisin
I saw this one in an Anna Saccone-Joly Yankee Candle haul and when I saw it in Spotlight I picked a couple up and I love it! It’s very sweet and cinnamon-y! Another one to get you in the mood to bake!
Sadly I wasn’t able to get one of my favourites, Christmas Eve. I’m hoping to find it online on eBay or something before Christmas Eve so I can burn it while we watch a movie together.

These all sound so good! I’ve been using a gingerbread reed diffuser to get my house smelling all Christmassy, but I love the sound of some of these. I think the buttercream one sounds the best to me! x #KCACOLS

I love Pain Au (or Aux) Raisins – I have the large jar and I think it’s my absolute favourite! I’ve bought Christmas scented Yankee Candle votives as teacher gifts this year and we’ve made our own decorated jars to put them in. Well done for describing the scents – not an easy task! #KCACOLS

The red velvet one sounds divine. Some of my favourite scents are baked goods one. I have a blueberry pie candle that had my friend waiting for this non-existent pie to come out of the oven. #KCACOLS
